Privacy policy of mkdraghetti.it

This notice, given under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), explains which personal data the mkdraghetti.it website processes, for what purposes and for how long.

Browsing data

Like any website, mkdraghetti.it receives some technical data from visitors' browsers: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and referring site. The server records them in its log files to run the website and to protect it from abuse and cyber attacks (legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are not used to identify visitors, unless needed to investigate computer crimes, and are kept for 12 months, then deleted automatically.

Data sent with the contact form

The contact form asks for first name, last name, email, subject and message, and optionally company and phone. The data are used only to answer requests for information or quotations (legal basis: steps taken at the request of the data subject, Art. 6(1)(b)). The required fields are needed to reply. The website does not store the data sent: they reach the controller by email, at info@mkdraghetti.it, and are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any relationship that follows.

Google reCAPTCHA

To block messages sent by automated programs, the contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which loads only when the visitor starts filling in the form. Google processes data about the device and its use, also in the United States, according to its own privacy policy and terms of service (legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller in protecting the form from abuse).

Maps

Many pages show an OpenStreetMap map at the bottom: its images come from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, in the United Kingdom (a country for which the European Commission has recognised an adequate level of data protection), which receives the IP address and the technical data of the browser. The map on the Contacts page uses images from Esri, which come from the servers of Esri Inc., in the United States, and receive the same data. More information in the Esri privacy statement. The "Google Maps" link in the map box leads to Google's website, which applies its own rules.

YouTube videos

The Media section of the News & Events page contains some YouTube videos. They load only when the visitor opens a video, from the youtube-nocookie.com domain (privacy-enhanced mode): from that moment Google receives the IP address and the technical data of the browser, according to its own privacy policy.

Who processes the data

The controller and processor is Mekanica Draghetti S.n.c., which processes the data through its own authorised staff. The website and the email service are hosted on servers in the European Union (in Germany). The data are not disclosed, are not used for marketing or profiling and are not subject to automated decisions.

Rights of the data subject

At any time you can ask the controller for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). Just write to info@mkdraghetti.it: the data of the request are processed to act on it, as required by law (Art. 6(1)(c)). You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
